1. On Friday 05/20/22 I ate Jiff Peanut Butter lot# 2093 425 best if used by 04/03/2024. On Saturday I had very bad cramping and went to the restroom several times. Today I am better, how do I resolve this?

2. It’s been a real literal shitty two wks. 5 kids under 7 all been nonstop pissing out their asses and vomiting like crazy w high fevers.. weren’t able to keep any liquids/food down. Finally got the last one over the hump & Our kindergartener spiked a 102 fever again yesterday— as it turns out we just realized we have the tainted jif peanut butter.. taking stool samples and dr. Ordered a lab- will be in contact

3. My 12 year old lab ate the recalled Jif peanut butter with his medication. He had stopped eating his dog food so we fed him more peanut butter. Then he’d at least have some food in his stomach. It got so bad over about a 3 week time period he couldn’t even get up to go outside. We assumed it was old age and we didn’t want him to suffer any longer so we had to euthanize him. I wonder know if it was the peanut butter that caused his rapid deterioration😢 It was heartbreaking having to make that decision and at the time we didn’t know about the recall.

4. I was sick for 4 days. It started on 4/30 after eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. My symptoms started with fever, chills, stomach cramps, nausea and then vommiting. I had severe diarrhea for 4 days and could not leave the bed. I also suffered from dehydration as I could not hold any food or drink down during those 4 days. I could not be further than 10 feet away from the bathroom due to the severe diarrhea. I contemplated going to the hospital but didn’t want to pay the hospital bill. Wish I had. I just found out about the recall on Jiff peanut butter. I still have the jar of peanut butter.

   2. Yes I was in hospital for sepsis due to salmonella for seven days. I have a jar of peanut butter jif 16 ounce but code is 1035-425. I’ve been trying to get it analyzed but can’t find no one to do it just asking is it possible it was bad too.

I was sick for 5 day ate a peanutbutter sandwitch on 5/17/22 got sick very next day.nasuia chills direra .Went to urgent care put me on antibiotic two days later could not take it went to my family Dr told me stop the antibiotic and hydrate as much as possible could not stay off the toilet finally started to relief me on Saturday my stomach felt like it was at war stomach is still sore and still have headaches I still have jar of penut butter with the lot code 13524250217.27.

6. I have some of the peanut butter listed in the recall and I ate some of it. I had diarrhea on and off for a few days, but didn’t seek medical attention because I figured it might have been something that didn’t agree with me, I mean I only found out about the recall about two days ago, so had no idea that it was something like this that didn’t agree with me. I don’t really watch tv, I only found out because a friend on Facebook posted it. Guessing some kind of medical documentation is required?

7. Hello.
   I have two jars of the Jif peanut butter on the recall. I am always eating peanut butter but in May I got extremely sick. I honestly thought I was Terminally ill. It was bad. My doctor ran blood test. I was not formally tested for Salmonella but my liver test was very high and my white blood cell count too. My doctor wants to retest me next month. I instinctively stopped eating the peanut butter and I started to feel better. When I saw the recall I checked the numbers on the jars and they are a match.

   i have been sick since 5/24/22. i have been to the ER twice and my regular doctors once so far. i am still sick fighting the vomiting, body aches, stomach cramps, headaches and sweats. It has been a shit show. I can’t leave my house i have missed my daughter’s college graduation. i had to watch it on tv because i could not leave. I also had to miss out on a lot of other really important engagements due to no feeling. i Hope we can figure this out.

9. We ate this Jif both had severe cramping,yet my wife’s cramping furthered a prolapse which was an er trip,They did blood and urine tests there and it came back as e.coli,not salmonella….a week later Costco contacted us about the recall.

10. I ate JIF crunchy peanut butter from #2040 425 every day for 7-10 days in late May and developed severe abdominal pain with nausea and diarrhea. On May 26, I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and prescribed antibiotics. I stopped eating the peanut butter at that time (only because it was the crunchy variety and I was put on a soft diet) and the pain went away.

11. I got severely ill for 5 days couldn’t work or leave the house severe diarrhea high temperature and cramps finally a friend told me about the recall of jif so I went to the cabinet got the jif peanut butter and checked the lot number and it was a match still have it what should I do

12. My entire household was sick twice for days. Even our dog! My daughter was the mildest case as she only ate a small portion but even she had a fever, chills and upset stomach … She was sent home from special needs adult day program because of the fever. Infact, her father had to leave work because I was too sick to leave the house (diarrhea). I assumed we just had a stomach bug but a week later it happened again and this time our dog was even sick … We took covid tests and were when we all came up negative. It was about 10 days later when I heard of the recall and found we had a contaminated jar. We did not go to hospital as I don’t believe in going unless it’s an absolute emergency. I just continued treating our symptoms. Had I known it was salmonella I would have had us tested.
